They can also be unlocked by leveling up the crafting skill. The crafting skill unlocks new crafting recipes and will increase the durability of items with each crafting skill level gained . The player can increase the crafting skill by making tools and weapons.
At the start of a new game the player will be automatically be given basic starter blueprints. Other blueprints will need to be discovered, this can be done by exploring all the different locations around the map. Once a new blueprint has been learned it will be added to the players notebook.
When focusing on the main objectives, Green Hell is about 17 Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 32½ Hours to obtain 100% completion.
Items can also be multi-crafted providing the player has enough resources to do so in thier backpack. To multi-craft use the +/- signs to pick how many items to craft. Another way to craft is by pressing C and selecting the crafting icon from the menu wheel.
The Fortifications update brings small fences to Green Hell on PC. These simple fences can be made from wood or bamboo. 🎍 They're not the most durable of the bunch and won't keep bigger threats out of your camp, but they're a good option if you're short on supplies!
The first main story is finished. The second story "The spirits of Amazonia", I am not sure if that story is finished or still being added to. Once you complete the story the game ends as you have "won". Then there is a separate survival mode that doesn't have a ending.
Good ending = Find the cure by inserting the right item into the machine at the research lab. Then answering you found the cure when prompted during the final ayahuasca event. Bad Ending = Not finding the cure or NOT answering that you found the cure in the final ayahuasca event.
While you start the game at 100% sanity, certain actions will raise or lower that number. Positive actions such as sleeping on a bed or next to a fire can increase that sanity, while negative actions like not sleeping, eating toxic foods, or having leeches stuck to your limbs can lower your sanity.
When beginning the Raft Challenge the player will first need to find the location of the raft. The coordinates of the raft are shown at the top left of the screen. Once the player has found the raft they will see the blueprint has already been laid out. The player will need to complete building the raft.
In order unlock the mud mixer blueprint the player will first need to discover mud. Once built the player will need to place two pieces of mud and one ash pile in to the mud mixer. Water then can be added to the mixer using a water container such as the coconut bidon.
The notebook is accessible by pressing the N key. Another way to open the notebook is by pressing C and selecting the notebook icon from the menu wheel.
