George R.R. Martin's best-selling book series "A Song of Ice and Fire" is brought to the screen as HBO sinks its considerable storytelling teeth into the medieval fantasy epic. It's the depiction of two powerful families -- kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars and honest men -- playing a deadly game for control of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, and to sit atop the Iron Throne. Martin is credited as a co-executive producer and one of the writers for the series, whose shooting locations include Northern Ireland, Malta, Croatia and Spain.

Game of Thrones: Season 7 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Matthew Gilbert Boston Globe The season premiere of Game of Thrones was thoroughly satisfying, a transporting hour that brilliantly reestablished the chessboard for the new, penultimate season. Apr 5, 2019 Full Review Game of Thrones: Season 7 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Ed Potton Times (UK) With the women more badass than ever, the men were left to do the touchy-feely stuff. Rated: 4/5 Dec 29, 2017 Full Review Game of Thrones: Season 7 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Joe Clay Times (UK) Benioff and Weiss's attempt to glue everything back together and -- if not start the game again -- return the pieces to positions that might make for a more interesting and considered endgame... worked. Rated: 4/5 Dec 29, 2017 Full Review Game of Thrones: Season 7 | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Fausto Ponce Alta Fidelidad Magazine I enjoyed the seventh season of Game of Thrones like never before. [Full review in Spanish] Apr 28, 2021 Full Review Game of Thrones: Season 7 | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Kelechi Ehenulo Confessions From A Geek Mind The time for politics is over. The great war is here and if there was an attitude to embrace for season seven, then it was a suspended disbelief. Rated: 3.5/5 Jul 16, 2020 Full Review Game of Thrones: Season 7 | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Nathan Paige Cleveland Plain Dealer While I found "Dragonstone" to be completely engaging, I was expecting a bit more action. It's evident the writers decided to go with the slow build. I take that to mean the remaining six episodes of this season should be quite the feast. Apr 5, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Atomsk T Some of the worst slop to ever be put to film Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/08/24 Full Review Shan T This is a test not real! Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/29/24 Full Review Greg C As the show gets closer to the end, my respect for it continues to drop with each season. Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/13/24 Full Review Aidan B The spectacle is as grand as ever, and when the season hits its peaks, it reaches some of the highest highs the show hits. However, rushed arcs (Beyond the Wall, The Dragon and the Wolf), and questionable decisions by characters that come across as completely out of character (Sansa, Petyr, Arya, Jon, Bran, Daenerys) all drag the season down from what could've otherwise been the show's peak season. Not terrible, just underwhelming and noticeably more rushed than previous seasons. Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/12/24 Full Review Ashley B episode 4 is an all time great episode of tv Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/24/24 Full Review Travis A Some very high highs, and some annoying rushed plots (the mission beyond the wall- wtf, arya and sansa fighting because what else were they supposed to do all season)... but the highs were incredible, including one of the best 4-5 episodes of the ENTIRE series in the "spoils of war" episode 4 Rated 4.5/5 Stars • Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/27/24 Full Review Read all reviews
